With the rapid development of China's aviation industry and airport hangars and other facilities,traditional heating technology can not meet the needs of development in terms of thermal efficiency,environmental comfort and so on.Hangar and other tall space due to their own architectural characteristics,there are a variety of heating methods for choice.Designers and builders should determine the best and most reasonable heating scheme based on building functions and characteristics as well as municipal conditions.Among them,in the heating construction of the hangar,the gas radiation heating system can be completely used. 
 

	Gas infrared radiation heating does not heat air,only the human body and dense objects,so there is no thermal gradient.Gas infrared radiation heating can meet human comfort requirements at 3 to 5°C lower than the traditional heating air temperature,without heating the entire space air to a higher temperature,such as 18°C.Especially in the 10 meters above,or even 30 meters high hangars such as super large buildings.

	Taking Hangar No.1 of Beijing New Airport Southern Aviation Base as an example,the hangar covers an area of nearly 40,000 square meters,which is the largest aircraft maintenance hangar in Asia,and the largest single maintenance hangar in the world,which can accommodate up to 12 aircraft including 2 Airbus A380 and 3 Boeing 777 at the same time.The project adopts IMPRESIND gas radiant heating system promoted and sold by Beijing Leadway Power Co.,LTD.The radiant pipe is laid above the room(as shown),which does not occupy the use area of the building.The generator is installed outdoors and burns very completely,so the heat of the entire heating system can be fully utilized.


	 


	The interior design temperature of Hangar No. 1 is 18℃, while the actual average temperature reaches 20.7℃. In a radiant heating environment, the indoor temperature is uniform, and the perceived human body temperature is 2℃ to 3℃ higher than the indoor air temperature. That is, under the condition of achieving the same heating effect, the air temperature in radiant heating can be 2℃ to 3℃ lower than that in convective heating, and lowering the indoor temperature can reduce energy consumption. Compared with convection heating, radiant heating has a smaller indoor air temperature gradient, higher heat utilization rate and is more energy-efficient. Energy conservation can reach 30% to 50%.

 
At present, IMPRESIND gas radiant heating system has been applied to the heating of large Spaces in multiple airport hangars, including the Eastern Airlines Hangar at Beijing Daxing Airport, the Southern Airlines hangar at Shenyang Xiantao Airport, the Shenzhen Airlines hangar at Harbin Airport, and the new Hohhot Airport.
